Over the past decade I’ve been working my way across the world in digital from native Sweden to Australia and now the UK.
My journey started around 1998 when I launched a Swedish technology news website that grew into something that caught the attention of the established media world. By 2000 I was approached by the then largest Swedish Apple related publication called MacPressen (which later merged with MacWorld). I quickly became the driving force behind its successful online presence and fast growing community, and was subsequently promoted to acting editor-in-chief.
Early in my carreer I had the fortune to work in diverse areas such as publishing, sonic branding, seo, and development. Since 2006 I’ve had a significant focus on paid search, analytics, mobile, social, affiliate and display advertising. The work has for the most part been on an international basis and with major B2C and B2B clients in a diverse range of verticals.
The thread that keeps it all together is my desire to stay at the cutting edge of technology and marketing to find new ways to monetize emerging opportunities. And as you can probably tell from my blog, I really enjoy sharing my ideas and experiences in an effort to contribute to the wider community and further learning.
In that spirit I also write for blogs such as Econsultancy and Search Marketing Standard and am active in the IAB UK B2B council and also take on the occasional speaking engagement.
